Weedy Wednesday – Parasitic Plant?

Sarcodes sanguineais a parasitic plant that derives its sustenance and nutrients from mycorrhizal fungi that attach to roots of surrounding trees. Because it completely lacks chlorophyll, it is unable to produce food for itself through photosynthesis.
